On November 15, 2022, the Honorable Minister of Agriculture of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Freedom Fighter and Leader, Dr. Md. Abdur Razzak, visited the Jessore branch of Maxim Agro Nursery. Accompanying the honorable minister were Md. Sayedul Islam, Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, and prominent experts from the government’s Department of Agriculture, including former Director-General of the Agricultural Directorate, Dr. Md. Hamidur Rahman. Also present were local dignitaries, leaders, the management team including the Director of Operations of Maxim Agro, and the staff.
During the visit, the honorable minister took a keen interest in observing the production of vegetable seedlings in the shade houses of MaxiM Agro Nursery. He expressed his satisfaction upon witnessing the utilization of modern techniques for vegetable seedling production and showed optimism regarding the future of vegetable cultivation.
